For those of you not taking notes at the meeting:
This is a list the the entries to the BADGE "Killer Demo" Contest #1.
Custom Demos (original main programs)
Picture Garden - never ending never repeating slide show
Brownian - fractal motion, triangles drawn at blitter speed
Stereo - the word AMIGA moving in 3d (requires red/blue 3D glasses) + speech
Tank - goldfish aquarium, with sound of bubbles, hum, and fish w/speargun
MemFlick - displays all of memory as graphics screen (code as pixels)
Triple - lines drawn at blitter speed, balls.of.fire, ascending stairs
Multitasking - speech of colored text, amoire, wallpaper, etc
Hawk - closeup of hawk's head for red/blue glasses; looks like a hologram
Tool Demos (using things like Director, Sculp/Animate-3D, etc)
Coyote - Wiley and Roadrunner moving thru digitized desert
Bowl - R, G, B balls, rolling in a concave reflective bowl
History Of Computers - picture of dinosaur, pot of gold, Amiga
Dogs World - dog running around the Arctic Circle, making globe go round
Tychoid - ray traced glass balls bouncing on a checkerboard, with sound
Asteroid Field - Star Wars X-wing fighter dodging asteroids (movie theater)
CUCUG - Champaign-Urbanaa Commodore User's Group logo around a sphere
Splash - large drop hitting water, causing ripples and ring of droplets
Alice Thru the Looking Glass - shows muscles and skull beneath her skin
Heartbeat - human heart pumping
Cardiac Surgery - (did not run)
Tiger - white tiger, head on, walking toward camera (Sculpt-3d)
NotBoingAgain - Sculpt person, inserts disk, Amiga says "Not Boing Again!"
StereoFlowers - 3 daisies in vase, rotating in 3D (uses red/blue glasses)
NuHand - scrawny hand, fingers creak as hand closes
Charon - detailed drawings, with music, sad tale of the Charon rowing
AmigaWave - title above rippling water in a marble pool
Randy Spenser will have detials on the winners.
