Judging from the obvious similarity in names, the two are probably related... but they're not the same. BTW, "Rounder" is not a claim of superior circularity; it is from the word "rounder" (disreputable or unsavory person) which appears in many folk songs. (Remember the Holy Modal Rounders?) No, and you'll probably get a double-handful of corrections. Although some
of the members of the Dead have recorded on Round, that's somewhat
peripheral (e.g., "Old & In the Way", which might as well be called Vassar
Clements' or David Grisman's record). The only real "Grateful Dead's
label" would be the now-defunct label named, curiously, Grateful Dead
Records.
