[comp.sys.amiga] Info about CDC SCSI drive

terry@wsccs.UUCP (Every system needs one) (10/22/88)

Has anyone hooked up the new CDC 1.05 Gig (formatted) drive to a Xebec SCSI
controller?

The drive is apparently available configured for SCSI at a retail price
of $6000. This is approximately 1/20 of the price-per-meg of the Supra
drives.

On a seperate note:

Has anybody got a pinout for a Xebec SCSI-to-Apple SCSI (Vax Station 2000)
connector?

Has anybody hooked a big drive to a Xebec controller?

Sorry, but it was the only one I could find that was cheap and capable of
handling multiple outstanding asynchronus requests and SCSI net.
