I had heard that some people had received copies of the SCA virus on the disks shipped with their GVP hard disk inteface cards, but for some ignorant reason I didn't check the disks that came with my Cltd host adapter. Well, foolish me, I got gotten. Sure enough, the virus was indeed on the original master disks that came with my Cltd interface card. Just wanted to warn any users of GVP or Cltd cards to CHECK YOUR SOFTWARE FOR THE SCA VIRUS! I now plan to assume the standard practice of checking ALL disks before booting with them. I spent all day today going through all my software, which isn't much fun at all. Thanks to the author of VirusX, the process was simpler than it could have been. The initialization part of virux didn't seem to want to work, though, so have an open cli (or shell now with 1.3) to do an INSTALL with. Happy Hunting!
