Can somebody help me out with a small problem? I was going to install the CMI board on my B2000. Got stuck when a non-compliant screw in front of the hard drive wouldn't budge. Didn't have the proper tool to loosen it so I put the wee beastie back together. Now the problem...The floppies no longer recognize the insertion or removal of a diskette. Sometimes will get "not a DOS disk" on a volume I *know* is good (a good case is my boot floppy which I have write protected). Diskchange df0: or Diskchange df1: commands do work. Is there any fix for this before I have to take it to the shop?? Any help greatly appreciated!! Prefer E-mail response as sometimes I don't always get through to my Usenet feed.
