I spoke with Perry Kivolowitz at the World of Commodore show and asked him about the bug in FaccII's low-mem library. Since he is not on Usenet, he asked me to pass this message on to comp.sys.amiga (this is from memory, so don't take this as being precise): There is a bug when using FaccII's low-mem library, however Perry is not sure it is in the FaccII low-mem library itself. It could actually be a problem with Exec that is only manifested when using the low-mem library. He would be most happy to fix the bug, but he has not been able to duplicate it in a repeatable way. He has seen the bug because one program would sometimes Guru, sometimes not (even under identical conditions). However, when he took out the low-mem library the program did not Guru at all. And here's the part he asked me to pass on: If anyone has found conditions that demonstrate this bug IN A REPEATABLE FASHION, please send details to Perry immediately. --Ken Van Camp ARPANET: kvancamp@ARDEC.ARPA -or- kvancamp@AC4.PICA.MIL BITNET: (use above through normal gateways, like UBVM.CC.BUFFALO.EDU) USENET: uunet!ardec.arpa!kvancamp@UUNET.UU.NET To the battle cry they raised their glasses: "RTFM: Ray Tracing For the Masses!"
