I've just ported Doug Mcdonald's portable C version of "World" to the
Amiga. This is a text adventure along the lines of Adventure or Zork,
but more technical in nature. Sort of like science fiction, I gather.
(Haven't played it too much, yet.) It looks like a very good game,
with a much more sophisticated parser than the original Adventure. My
version runs from Workbench or CLI, and will use the NEWCON: device or
the CON: device.
My question is, has anybody already done this? If so, I won't bother
trying to distribute it.
I'll make it available via email if anyone wants it. Please let me know
if you want the source, too. (Reading the source to cheat is *very*
cowardly!!!) If I get enough requests, I could even send it to Bob
Page.
