I just installed a ST277N seagate in my 2000 a couple of weeks ago and am hearing conflicting stories about needing to partition it. I assume that I would need a seperate partition for autobooting but am not sure I care that much about that since the machine stays on much of the time. Any opinions about what I would gain would be welcome. It's 65Meg with only 5 or 6M on it now so it be best to reformat it now if needed, right? The controller is a C Ltm.
