[comp.sys.amiga] Transactor Back in Business

jyegiguere@lotus.waterloo.edu (Eric Giguere) (11/18/88)

Just had a phone call from Nick Sullivan, one of the editors of
The Transactor and the Transactor for the Amiga. Here's the scoop:
a British firm has bought the publishing rights to the two magazines.
The guys at the Transactor will still edit and produce the magazine,
however. Richard Evers will probably leave after the transition period
is over.

Magazine status: TransAmi #3 is out now on the newsstands, being sent
to subscribers in a couple of days.... #4 is due out in another two weeks.
And #5 will be out at the end of December. A new Transactor (64/128) is
also coming out within the next week. Both the TransAmi and the Transactor
will be published monthly beginning in December -- no more alternations.

Anyhow, Nick just wanted to let you all know that things are going AOK
and that he's looking for some new material for the magazines.....

I'm glad the magazines survived.
