I want to thank the group for the help so far in this matter, but I still have a few problems... How can I make an intuition window/screen send all of the bitmaps and the colormap of an intuition window/screen over to an iff file correctly? I am currently using jiff.c, jiff.h, jiff_save.c, and other small routines, but I have not yet been able to satisfactorily do it yet. I have a 640/200 window, 16 colors, and have read up on rastports, but still do not have a true iff save. My current picture is only saving approx 4 colors, so somehow, it is only getting 2 bitmaps out of the 4. Also, in Rob Peck's book, he mentions how to draw onto a off-screen rastport, and copy onto the current screen. What I need to do is to draw on the on screen rastport without using the memory of an off- screen one. Thanks for any and all help... Hans Bechtel hansb@ariel.unm.edu CATS,DOGS,GOATS...
