I need some help. I recently purchased a CLTD SCSI 2000 controller card and a seagate st-251N 40M Hard Drive. I've tried just about everything that CLTD's manual suggests, but when performing a 'seamat 1 251' (seagate format program) I always get a 'mode' error. I am able to lolevel format using their generic format program 'romat' but when I try to do a higher level DOS format, at the conclusion I get a checksum error, followed by a Not a Dos Disk. What could be the problem, is it the CLTD card, the seagate or what. If any of you have set up a seagate drive, please email me your mountlist and suggestions Thanks in advance -- David Whitlock internet: whitlock@tc.fluke.COM uucp: {decvax!sun,ucbvax!sun,uw-beaver,ssc-vax,allegra,lbl-csam}!fluke!whitlock John Fluke Mfg.
