For those of you that missed us, ulowell (and most of *.ulowell.edu) was out of commision for about a week and a half except for one 18 hour period last Thursday (in which I managed to eek out a message to comp.sys.amiga). Many problems, including replacements of two different disks. Looks like we're back up, at least for now. We didn't drop any news or mail, and thanks [or no thanks :-)] to NNTP all our downstream sites shouldn't miss any news either. Some of the stuff recently added to the FTP archive was lost, but the loss should only be temporary. If you sent mail to/through ulowell and it bounced because we were unreachable, please consider resending it. While I'm at it, the building housing swan.ulowell.edu (and the other machines in CS) will be closed for insect control spraying on Friday, Nov 25, so if anything goes down during that time, there won't be any way to get into the building and fix it until Saturday. ..Bob (who could use a nice turkey dinner right about now...) -- Bob Page, U of Lowell CS Dept. page@swan.ulowell.edu ulowell!page Have five nice days.
