[comp.sys.amiga] Hardware Interfacing

ehoogerbeets@trillium.waterloo.edu (Edwin (Deepthot) Hoogerbeets) (11/26/88)

A person came to me in the Computer Science Club today and asked me
about interfacing external hardware to the parallel port of the Amiga
for some psych experiments he is programming.

I've never done anything like that, but I said I would look around for
the info. He already has all the RKM's (including the hardware manual),
but they gloss over the parts pertinant to what he wants to do.

So my question is this: Can you help with the following:

a - you have had experience with this interfacing before
b - you can recommend more in-depth articles or books
c - you know how to get the appropriate docs from Commodore

If so, please call Martin Loken at 888-4042 (which is the Fed office,
if he isn't there, please leave a message) or reply to this account and
I will forward the response to him.

Anachronistic Thanks.
