...Seeking Enlightment about Kickstart Checksum Ok, I know how the Kickstart checksum is calculated by the Boot Rom. No problem to correct the checksum on the Kickstart disk if you have changed something. But WHERE is the REAL checksum located? (There are LOTS of places where a long word can be changed without harm to the OS, e.g. Commodore's Copyright notice :-) Perhaps somebody could look in this SumKick program (which I don't have) and tell me.
