Which means that thy MIGHT become actual products, or thy MIGHT NOT. On the same token, THERE IS NO RELEASE DATE or PRICE available at this time, EXCEPT for the UNIX SYS V.3 which IS available NOW to "qualified" developers. Can "certified developers" be qualified? I work with Unix workstations at work and would be very interested in trying out Commodore's implementation. It would be interesting to compare it to A/UX (Apple's Unix). I am especially interested in looking at their proprietary windowing interface. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Michael Nowak ...mailrus!shogun!mike Workstation Consultant mike@shogun.cc.umich.edu U of M Computing Center User Services Mike_Nowak@um.cc.umich.edu ...working for but in no way representing the University of Michigan...

Since the developer's price for the A2500+UNIX was not disclosed at COMDEX but only in the "closed" amiga.com BIX conference available to "commercial" developers only, I am assuming that the offer is for "Commercials" only, but you'll have to wait for a confirmation/denial directly from CATS (Lauren?). -- Marco Papa 'Doc' -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= uucp:...!pollux!papa BIX:papa ARPAnet:pollux!papa@oberon.usc.edu "There's Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Diga!" -- Leo Schwab [quoting Rick Unland] -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

At the present time, Unix beta systems are available only to members of the commercial developer support program. When the units will be available to members of the certified developer program, we'll send out notification.
