In the Nov. issue of Computer Graphics Today (a glitzy NCGA rag), there is a letter from Greg Witz to the editors, and an interesting reply: (copied without permission) In the Aug "Q&A" column, a question was raised about video presentation equipment. You seem to have overlooked the capabilities of the Commodore Amiga. Not only does the Amiga offer a full range of animation, it can also be used for interactive animation where the animation is controlled by where you point on the screen. I beleive the Amiga has set standards far beyond the Apple Macintosh. Greg Witz Fullerton, CA Editor's Reply: There have probably been more articles on the Commodore Amiga in CGT than in any other computer graphics trade publication. We obviously dont dispute its merits. What we'd most like to do is publish a hands-on review, or a series of reviews, of the Amiga 2000. But we'll need a review unit first. Are you listening, Commodore? -------end of letter --------- I hope someone at Commodore saw the magazine, or at least see's this posting... This is an excellent opportunity to reach the NCGA audience. -- "What is a DJ if he can't scratch?" - Uncle Jamms Army The views expressed are those of the author, and not of Visual Edge, nor Usenet.
