I've got a C-Ltd expansion controller on the side of my 500, and I've been happily running an adaptec 4000 and IBM type winnie for a long time. I've recently 'obtained' a CDC Wren II SCSI 91Mb drive, but I can't seem to get the thing working with the C-Ltd i/f..... Neither of the low-level formatters seem to work... I would phone C-Ltd, but it's quite expensive from the UK, and last time I phoned they weren't a lot of help !!! (Yup, I *know* others say different!) 1) has anyone used a similar setup ?? 2) can anyone tell me the latest version of the C-Ltd s/w (mine is 2.01) ?? you asked what the latest rev of cltd hard disk software is - i called them a few days ago and they say 3.0 - and it comes with a real printed manual! they will ship it to you for $25 in the US - don't know about across the pond. --Scotty
