OK. I just returned from the World of Commodore show at the Toronto Int., So I walked arround for about 3 hours endlessly. Finally, I bit my tongue and puked up the dough for a Lucas bare board and pals (75.00 Total). Now that I have done that, I have only one thing to say: HELP!!!!! I am definetly not a hardware hack. Heck, the only thing I ever soldered before are some C64 power supplies and Joysticks. So I have two questions: 1) Can anyone recommend a good place to pick up the Motorolla 68020 and 68881 processors ? For that matter, where in Toronto can I pick up rest of the parts easy ??? 2) Is anyone in the Kitchener-Waterloo area who has put one together offer any assistance ? I will be in the area for Jan - Apr 1988. Any help is greatly appriciated. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Hsi P. Try: Hamilton Avnet 6845 Rexwood Malton L4V 1R2 673-3830 Lila Cameron told me that some of the processor kits were still available. MC68020-16KIT is what you want, '020 '881 and some other parts, 16MHz, $399. I don't think you'll find it cheaper anywhere else in Canada. /* I don't work for Motorola or Hamilton Avnet; just a customer */ -- {utzoo|mnetor}!dciem!zorac!dretor!king or king%dretor@zorac.dciem.dnd.ca Stephen J King =-= DCIEM Human Factors Division =-= (416) 635-2149
