Most of the art students I've dealt with are facinating by computers, not afraid of them (particularly for computer graphics). They run into two walls though 1) they are afraid of not having enough art/science background and 2) They don't know how to get exposure to creative uses of machines. This seems like a semi-important problem, because people who could both understand the tools and make aesthetic judgements in their use don't exist in great numbers, and I have yet to hear of any school that offers such an inter-diciplinary program. Is there one? - John Peterson
