<< if it offends anyone, it must be a typo >>

I just received the November '88 issue of 'Lasers & Optronics', wherein
there is an article by Patrick Murphy entitled 'Vector Scanning Using
Personal Computers'. You have one guess as to which 'personal computer' is
the star of this article.

Murphy discusses the relative merits of the Mac II, and why he settled for
an Amiga. He is president of Pangolin Laser Software, Arlington Va. This
company will be (if they aren't already) marketing a program called 'Laser
Show Designer', which allows the laser artist to create an animated laser
show using a tool similar to a conventional 2-D paint program. Add a laser,
a scanner amplifier, and a pair of galvo scanners, which are driven by the
Amiga audio outputs, and you have a complete (monochrome) laser show
system. Sounds exciting, doesn't it?
