[comp.sys.amiga] ARP, Manx AS, and FUNCDEF

2011_552@uwovax.uwo.ca (Terry Gaetz (UWO Astronomy); Bitnet: gaetz@uwovax) (12/11/88)

It all started with Shell301a. I was trying to compile it, but noticed
that it linked in a library I wasn't familiar with - a.lib.  I recalled
seeing something like that in my ARP stuff; fetching it, I tried it out.
Unfortunately, it had been compiled and lb'ed using Manx 3.4 and the
file formats had been changed between 3.4 and 3.6.  No problem, I thought;
I'll simply recompile and rebuild a.lib using 3.6.

Here's where the problems start. Some of the assembly routines INCLUDE
<exec/exec_lib.i> which is full of FUNCDEF's. The assembler doesn't seem
to recognize FUNCDEF.

Could somebody enlighten me as to how to assemble the FUNCDEF's?

Thanks in advance,
                                   Terry Gaetz
