Yes, I had this problem when trying to format my hard disk partitions.

I would also like to know what causes format to tell "handler not found"
when its trying to format with the FastFileSystem.

Has anyone else seen either of these problems?

I had the same problem with "handler not found" when I tried formatting
my hard disk under FFS. I had forgotten to do Binddrivers with the
correct *.info files in the expansion directory. You might try that.
