I'm looking for information on the Amiga family of PC's. I have a brother who is interested in buying one ever since he saw the flight simulator like game (he's a pilot :-). However, his knowledge of computers is nil and he doesn't want to just buy a $600+ video game. I've called about 20 computer dealers in this area (S.F. Bay Area) and NOT 1 of them carried the Amiga line! I did stumble into an electronics store that had 1 of the 500 systems, but they had no literature on the system that I could take home and review. So what I'm looking for is any or all of the following: - A reputable dealer in the S.F. Bay Area that carries that Amiga line that will either answer all my questions, or will have literature I can take home and look over. - The name of a magizine (e.g. Byte) that carried a writeup on the Amiga's and what issue the writeup was in. - The name of a book or trade rag that is dedicate to the Amiga family that also gives info on the various machines in the family to allow one to make an intelligent buying decision. Any and all information will be extremely appreciated! Please email me any responses/pointers as I don't read this notes string on a regular basis.
