This weekend, while booting "Roadwars", I got a "Not a DOS Disk" error message, followed by a software error message guru. I turned off the machine, let it sit a while, and rebooted. I got the same "Not a DOS Disk" message, but this time it blew itself up 500% to the full size of the screen, with a bit of gibberish at top. I turned it off and let it sit a while longer, and since then it's worked fine. Occasionally, if I don't wait a while between turning the system on and off, it'll boot with a green color which, if I recall the analysis posted a while back, is a "Bad Chip RAM" message. The book warns you to keep the system off for a minute between rebooting, but talks about getting an error message if you don't - not a nasty color. Since the thing's still under warranty, I have two questions: 1) Anybody seen anything like the first problem before? 2) Is it usual to receive green when you don't follow the boot rules? Thank you!
