There has been some question about A500 + LUCAS board so I here give some information about it. There isn't any problems with electronic side. Board works ok, only is that it doesn't seem to work with low frequencies. I use mine with 14.7 MHz and thats ok but same board with 10MHz oscillator wont work. Software problems are same as with A2000. About peripherals I haven't got any knowledge, (I don't have any). Greatest problem is that it's impossible to close machine as CPU is located under keyboard and with LUCAS board you are not able to put keyboard on its place. If you are able to use external keyboard it will solve this problem. Otherwise you must stay with loose keyboard. I think it isn't big problem to build new box for CPU and keyboard and use them separately. Speed Increase achieved with processor isn't great. Some programs (uudecode, zoo, etc..) which are heavily CPU bound can get upto 50% enchancement, but graphics oriented programs wont get anything noticeable.
