>I just found out that OXXI sells a package called TAX BREAK, a tax

Just a note -- Oxxi Inc. sells "Tax Break" for $79.95 US.
PH. (213) 427-1227

They also advertise a thing known in Canada as "Amiga-tax" for
$69.95 US.
(I guess sold by Datamax Research -- Ph. (416) 775-2225)

WELL ---- TAKE NOTE ----

Datamax Research sells the very same "Tax Break" for $69.95 US.
Call Datamax at (416) 775-2225 and ask for the US version of
"Amiga Tax".

The person on the other end of the phone said there is some kind of
agreement between Oxxi Inc. and Datamax, and the US version of "Amiga
Tax" is the very same program as "Tax Break".

By the way -- I have no idea how well this stuff works, but I guess
I'll find out. I do like the idea that it will spit the completed forms
out of my printer ready to be mailed to Uncle Sugar (Sam) or ???.
(Does Canada have a humanoid mascot??)

It is supposed to ship January 25, 1989.

So you can save $10.00. This can be used buy a couple o' sixers to kill
the pain of tax time. ;-) The voice on the phone said this savings
was for a limited time.

Disclaimer -- I don't work for or even know anyone at Oxxi Inc. or
Datamax Research. I'm just trying to save folks a 10 spot.

I know nothing about the US version of Amiga Tax, but Datamax's Canadian
tax program is in its third year now. It's works very well but, until now at
least, its documentation was quite weak.
