Posting for a colleague... An instructor (James Pomeroy, Art department) at our university is using Videoscape 2.0 to create an animation for a show in Chicago next week. He is having a problem. He can create the animation and play it fine in lo-res. When he plays it back in med-res (Videoscape Video Res, 320x400) using both Playanim 4.2 or Director the animation plays fine to begin with, however about 2/3 of the way to the end he gets broken ghosts (fragments, possibly color chaff?) in the images that stay on the screen even when the animation starts over at the beginning. The frames are done on a black background with monochrome images and the anims are 48-100 frames. He is using an Amiga 2000 with 3MB of memory to create the images. The playback effect is present on A500s, A1000s, and A2000s. If anyone can offer any solutions it would help our favorite machine to make a good showing. Mail to me will be printed and given to James ASAP or you can call him at (817) 273-2891 (work) or (817) 261-7558 (home) and he will call you back. \-----------------------------------------------------------/ \ Ray Howard Bitnet: C072ERH@UTARLG / \ #include <std.disclaimers> C072ERH@UTARLVM1 / \ Any sufficiently advanced bug is indistingiushable / \ from a feature. / \ Internet: c072erh%utarlg.decnet@chpc.brc.utexas.edu / \===========================================================/
