I am interested in finding out if anybody has successfully use the low end Xerox laser printers (i.e. Xerox 2700 & 5700 etc.) as phototypesetting output device for troff or Tex. I heard that Xerox is not very cooperative in providing the technical details needed for interfacing their printers to typesetting programs, is this true?
