Some time ago, I got hold of a copy of an online directory of PAMS, Public Access Message (etc) Systems, apparently originating on the ARPAnet. It was originally published by Public Message Systems of Santee CA. The number they listed for their own system, however, has been disconnected or discontinued or whatever, as have many others. I know PCnet, an arm of PCC, periodically publishes a list of phone numbers of sites that run the Ward Christensen (sp?) CBBS (tm) software, or reasonable facsimile thereof, in things like Dr. Frob's and Creative Computing and so forth. However, their listing is nowhere near as all-encompassing as the other one. Does anyone know where to get a current online directory and online updates? Would anyone who has access to this sort of stuff be willing to post it periodically to some newsgroup or other. Would anyone STRENUOUSLY object if they did? Should I have posted this question in some other group, and, if so, which one? Thanks, - Kenn (decvax!)goutal
