I've got Pioneer Plague, and for the life of me I can't seem to win the game. I've read through the manual, and it says that you're supposed to stop the spread of the plague (probes). It seems to be a lot easier said than done. I'll get to the last infected planet, immediately escape to the Lifestar (mothership) so that I can check my home system and confirm that there are no other infected planets. No others? Yep. "Great," I think to myself. "Finish off this planet, and I'm home free!" Wrong. I'll destroy every sky hatch, letting none of the probes escape (yes, I'm sure of this, if for no other reason than when I return to the Lifestar it give me a summary which shows 0 escaped rockets...). Do I win? No. I check my system again, and find that one or two planets now have 1 probe on them! Where the heck did THEY come from? Anyone know how you're expected to win the game when it does that to you? Any help appreciated. --Dave -- David Guntner UUCP: {ames, mit-eddie}!killer!davidg INET: davidg@killer.DALLAS.TX.US "..Different ship, but she's got the right name. Treat --Admiral L.
