Does anyone know of the existence of some sort of directory of
traditional music festivals?
If there are none, I would like to start one, with the help,
of course, of all of you traditional music lovers (you ARE
out there, aren't you?).
The sort of info that might be useful to would-be participants
in these festivals :
1. name & location
2. dates
3. camping/lodging facilities
4. activities schedule, if any
5. emphasis (performances, work-shops, dancing, partying, etc.)
6. costs
7. restrictions (pets, alcohol, ages, etc.)
8. registration procedures--who to contact, lead time, etc.
Please send any info you have to me; I'll start collecting
it and pass it along to any who are interested.
