[comp.sys.amiga] Fortran compiler

Could someone recommend a reliable Fortran compiler for the Amiga? I'll
post responses if there are enough.

Thanks,
Dan Friedman

Reliable or not, there is ONE and only ONE FORTRAN compiler available on
the Amiga. That's the one from Absoft. Many times I wished there was
another alternative, at least to stimulate some competition. But I think
that it would be lost on Absoft. I get the feeling from them that they
don't care about supporting the product. When is the last time they
had a new release? Wasn't over two years ago?

I'm not sure this is true. I've seen a F77 compiler at my Amiga shop that
I think isn't the Absoft version. It comes packaged with just a book inside
shrink wrap. That's about all I remember about it...

Of course, it doesn't look like it'll compare favorably.

So let's all start a write-in campaign and convince Tom Lahey to port
his Personal Fortran to the Amiga!!!!!
