I have almost convinced a co worker to buy an amiga. He wants a
computer for game playing for his kids, but one where he can also
do serious development. Seems like the amiga is a perfect choice.
However, he wants to know about comercial (or very good PD) versions
of LOGO ans LISP. (This may have been discussed before, but then
with 29000 messages at this site, EVERYTHING has probably been
discussed before.) Who makes them, how much, etc?
Also,
He is interested in "problems" with the machine. I told him of the
A500 power supply problem, but downplayed it since he might be able
to persuade the dealer to throw in a better one. (But C/A {if you haven't
already} you really ought to fix this.) I am wondering about other
machine problems either A500 or A2000 (I have an A1000, so I am useless).
