[comp.sys.amiga] Aegis products...

C503719@umcvmb.missouri.edu (Baird McIntosh) (02/13/89)

Hello, this is my first post (how many times have you heard that one?), and
I'd like to ask some questions that I know have been answered before, but
here goes anyway:
                  1) Does anyone have a later version of Sonix? I have 2.0
and although there are things about Sonix that I really
like, I am disappointed that there is no support for
ties within a measure, triplets and other odd durations,
tempo and dynamics changes, etc. Is this available in a
                      later version?

                  2) Since I'm asking about Aegis products, does anyone have
a version of Diga past 1.0? Does Diga do 7 bit kermit
transmissions, like to send and receive binary files
from an IBM 4381 VMS system? Currently I use the
shareware program, Handshake 2.12a, but if Diga will do
                      7 bit kermit uploads/downloads, I wouldn't feel like I
                      have wasted $50+ on it.

                  3) Finally, is Aegis really still a company? I called
them several times over the holidays, but they never got
back to me. I also tried calling them in late January,
but I got a message saying their numbers were
                      disconnected. Great...just great.

Well, if anyone has any helpful information in regard to these questions, I
would appreciate it. Please email your response if possible, because I may
miss responses posted to comp.sys.amiga.
Thank you for any help you can contribute.
