I have about 16 mont old A500 with A501, last night i found little bug in clocks functioning, batteryclock seems to be ok. After loading time clock is like normal UNTIL 1 min and 22 sec is gone it jumps back to the same time as after "setclock opt load", and this keeps repeating. I tried warm boot : nothing changed cold boot : nothing .. different boot-disk : nothing .. take A501 off : nothing .. So i think something is wrong in hardware. Sound, graphics and printer seems to be ok. I'm running under KS 1.2, and WB 1.2 (hard to find 1.3 in Finland). Anyone knows where the bug might be ? Please, thank you, etc. -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Mikko Laiho # Tampere University of Tecnology ml85920@tut.fi # Is there spelling checker in ml85920@tut.uucp # unix ? Looks like you might have been infected by the so called clock-virus. I don't know if it really exists, as some deny that it does. I do know that you can reset the clock using a PD utility - ResetClock. This resets the real time clock/calender. I think it was on one of the Fred Fish disks. It is also possible that the clock could be rendered inoperable by out-of- control programs. I have had experienced this and the program works well in correcting such a problem. ============================================================================= Brian Yamanaka University of Illinois - Urbana/Champaign "Where's U of I?"
