in order to set up my new drive i need a little info, my hard drive controller needs to know what the mode select bytes are for an ST157N... I've got nothing with the drive that specifies what those are supposed to be... an example in the controller manual specifies what things are supposed to be for a ST225N, (it specifies that there are $0C bytes to be sent, and lists them byte by byte...) i have the head count and cylinder stuff, but these mode bytes are unknown to me... any help would be appreciated.
