-------- Computer Graphics Today has started to include Amiga info recently. It also appears that Commodore has shipped them an A2000 for evaluation. Thanks, Commodore. The newest issue had several pieces of info about the Amiga, even one article about Rutgers' use of Amigas in education: Seems that Rutgers University's art department recently set up an animation lab with two Sun 3/60's linked with 6 Amiga 2000's and some nice video equipment. The lab was created with a $78,900 grant from the New Jersey Department of Higher Education. The article mentions animation techniques being studied and plans for entering the Los Angeles Animation Festival competition. It also mentions that Maria Palazzi, who set up the lab, came from the Ohio State Advanced Computing Center, which "supports the Rutgers program by providing software that can be used for animation." Interesting? Anyone know what software this is? Is it Unix software or Amiga software? ============================================ Kent Polk - Southwest Research Institute {cs.utexas.edu, sun!texsun}!swrinde!kent ============================================
