[this note sent to the generic amiga-relay Internet address] ...as I was typing before I hit the wrong keystroke (one tends to do this when switching from Unipress to GNU versions of Emacs...sigh) Strange things are happening under 1.3 that didn't happen under 1.2. Besides the previously mentioned symptoms of crashing to Kickstart and final characters in lines being gobbled, I've also seen about a half dozen instances in the last week or so of entire lines disappearing and seemingly being replaced by small ASCII integers. I say seemingly since I actually haven't SEEN these new lines, just the Shell saying to me something along the line of: "Unknown command 3" which is REALLY wierd since I never got NEAR the 3 key...anywhere! Anyone in the know care to comment? Again, no unusual software is arond when this happens. Just dmouse. As under 1.2. And versions of uGNUEmacs and VT100 may have been run at some time prior to the strangenesses.
