I've been noticing a lot of articles on the net about the band Yes.
Having just come from seeing them not more than two hours ago at
the Myriad in Oklahoma City, I'd like to add my two cents worth.

Let me say this. I'm not going to discuss whether or not Yes has
sold out by making more popular sounding music. I liked Yes a long
time ago, and I still do. Besides, I buy music to be entertained,
not for some artsy-tartsy reason. Entertainment is the reason I
went to the concert tonight, and believe me, I was not disappointed.

I read in a previous note that someone thought Trevor Rabin was too
"heavy metal" sounding. It didn't sound that way to me. Of course
he can't be the same as Steve Howe, he shouldn't try to be. If he
did, that would be selling out. Tony Kaye played solid keyboards,
but did seem to be somewhat reserved. The highlight of the show, as
usual, was Chris Squire. He never ceases to amaze me. Nuf said.
