In a recent submission by Dave Hughes, a recommendation was made to add NAPLPS graphics capabilities to the Amiga. Where can one get the specification of NAPLPS ? Also, telecommunications is mentioned-- I assume that the graphics is not interactive --- that is a protocol is not necessary with the sender of a NAPLPS string. Is this true? So any communications protocol could be used to download a file which contains NAPLPS information. Roger Mann

I got my copy of the specs about 5 years ago from ANSI. As I recall it cost
about $25. The ANSI document number that I have is X3.110-1983 . There may
be a more up to date version. I'm not sure. BTW, this document is a 158 page
8.5 x 11 book.
I'd love to see NAPLPS catch on. It offers quite a bit of capability, and is
fairly device independent, so the better your hardware, the better the picture
will look.
