Commodore marketing types listen perhaps??? There is a new magazine out from Phil Lemmons (one of the ousted editors from byte) Its called MIPS, and its avowed coverage region is for (quote) ""the Magazine of Intelligent Personal Systems"" The first issue of this mag covered things like the Silicon Graphics Personal Iris, and a bunch of 386 clones running xenix etc. etc. They've also covered the Mac II... The second issue covers multitasking harddrives, 88000 based systems, the NeXT and some more 386 clones with xenix and unix. Perhaps everyone has noticed an important missing machine in there??? Commodore.... GET a 2500 to these guys!!!!!!! So far their coverage doesn't seem to be slanted either to OS/2 or Unix or Multifinder... they seem to be covering all bases.. which means, that unlike byte, they'll provide balanced coverage of the 2500... Sounds like a great chance to get some positive coverage for the 2500 either in its UX incarnation, or in the regular AmigaDos configuration... JpC Jonathan P.
