Well, now that my Hard Drive question are answered, a few questions on the visual side. 1. Both the IBM and the Mac allows for oversized displays, for desktop publishing or whatever. Are any such displays available for the Amiga? It would seem esp. good for the Amiga with its multitasking abilities. Would the Graphics oriented chips pose any hardware limitations? If they do, could this be wired around by using a "window" that would contain standard Amiga screen, and allow room for other processes to occupy screen space. I refer to the SUNs screen, which I feel increases usability tenfold by displaying two pages of text pratically. The Mac has demonstrated that the monitors exist, can the amiga use them. As a last ditch effort, could a graphics card on the PC side that handles oversized screens "Window" Amiga processes, or would the Bitmaped nature of Amiga displays be a downfall? 2. What is the current Amiga monitor? I heard mention of a 1084D. Was this a typo (D is next to S). In that case, does the 1084S come with super VHS inputs? paul
