Help me! All you Musician-technos out there in Amiga land: I have a perfect sound digitizer that I want to use to record my guitar and use it as an instrument in DMCS. I know how to digitize it, and how to create the instrument file with the three octaves. what I want to know is: In DMCS, which note is the unaltered sample? DMCS takes the sample and speeds it up to make higher notes and slows it down to make lower notes. but which one is the original? I need to know so that when I record my guitar, I know which note to record in order to keep the sample in tune with the rest of the instruments. For instance if in DMCS the original unaltered note is 'A' and I digitize a 'G' note, then when I play the 'A' note in DMCS it will be the 'G' note that I digitized. Any help will be greatly appreciated. -- John Sparks // Amiga | {rutgers|uunet}!ukma!corpane!sparks \X/ UUCP | >> call D.I.S.K. @ 502/968-5401 thru 5406 << A virtuous life is its own punishment.
