This message is to *officially* inform everyone of a change in the
distributor of Amiga UUCP/UseNet softrware. As you may have or may
not have noticed through multiple messages posted to the net in the
past few weeks, Sneakers Computing has stopped distributing the Amiga
UUCP/UseNet software. The reason for this is due to other obligations
we are now involved with and plans for future projects. This means
that the extra time needed to fill orders and offer support is just
not there anymore.
I have talked with William Loftus and he has a new version of the
software that includes all of the features in the last release we
made *plus* new changes & enhancements of his own. Since we no longer
have the time and since Bill has the latest version it seems like a
perfect match. So in the future any orders/requests for Amiga UUCP
and News (UseNet) should be sent to Dynamyx at the address below.
If you have already sent an order to Sneakers Computing, Bill has
been kind enough to allow us to fill your order with his version of
the software. This is only a -stop gap- measure to avoid the delay of
returning your order and then having you reorder from Dynamyx. All
new orders should go directly to Dynamyx.
Heres a listing of the latest version and ordering instructions:
(1) AmigaUUCP

+ The capability to talk with other Amigas.
+ Many bugs fixes.
(2) AmigaMail
+ Version 0.50
+ Domain Mailing capability.
+ Many bugs fixes.
(3) AmigaNews
+ Version 0.50
+ Handles compressed news.
+ News Reader.
Includes DCRON (Matt Dillon's CRON not covered by the GNU copyright)
Any of these disks can be obtained by sending a blank disk for each disk you
want to Dynamyx with sufficient return postage. Alternatively, you can send
$US 5.00 per disk and Dynamyx will provide the disk and postage.
