I have recently been in touch with the author of Uedit, Rick Stiles. He gave me a rather large patch to Uedit 2.4g and has asked me to distribute it. The file is approx. 60K prior to uuencoding and applies to all versions of Uedit (i.e. UE, UES, UEK and UEX). If you have 2.4g, send me e-mail specifying a good return path and I will send you the patches. If you can volunteer to distribute the patches in your area, let me know that, too.
