[comp.sys.amiga] Amiga News Sighting!!

andrews@cos.com (Andrew R. Scholnick) (03/10/89)

This month (March) there are two listings in "Gomputer Graphics World"
about the Amiga. On page 87 there is an article describing how the
McCurdy Nature Center hired Andrew Glick of Justus Engineering (La
Canada, CA) to help them do Image Enhancement of the contents of the
digestive tracks of snakes (!?!?). Mr. Glick uses an Amiga 2000 with
1MB RAM, PIXmate, and DigiView Gold. It is a very good and positive
article which describes the Amiga's capability in some detail. It is
about 2 pages long.

The second mention is in the PRODUCTS section. They announce Deluxe
Photo Lab from EA. There is a great full color HAM screen picture of a
tropical fish in a bunch of daisys.

Just thought you all might like to know. ;-)
