Wait a minute, isn't John McLaughlin the guy I saw touring with Al DiMeola and Paco DeLucia. This would disprove your opinion that he hasn't played a guitar since 1975.

gosh, I am sure that I saw John McLaughlin at the 'McLaughlin, DiMeola and DeLucia' concert I went to a few months ago.....hmmmm.....

In late Fall '83, John McLaughlin, Paco De Lucia and Al Di Meola played at Palmer Auditorium in Austin, Texas. Playing along with them was Steve Morse, who actually seemed to steal the spotlight initially. Their guitar-work was a real treat ! All of them played acoustic guitars, I think, with no other musicians in the band.
