How might a prospective developer get their mitts on a shiny new Amiga A2500UX full of system software to work with? Is there a possibility of betatesting? How might that same developer at least aquire an information packet? Finding out that a version of my favorate computer was to have a working form of UNIX was shocker and a pleaser. I await answers to the above information with sweaty mitts. UUCP: ...!crash!pro-freedom!scotty INET: scotty@pro-freedom.cts.com "Just a touch of insanity. Nothing to worry about." - My psychologist

A while back, there was a small batch of units that were for sale to commercial developers. I think there was more demand than supply, and these are definitely beta machines (as far as the software goes), so CATS is more selective than usual about who qualifies to get one. I'm not sure if there are still some available, but I beleive that Brenda Billings (brenda@cbmvax) is the one to ask for information. -- -=] Ford [=- "The number of Unix installations (In Real Life: Mike Ditto) has grown to 10, with more expected." ford@kenobi.cts.com - The Unix Programmer's Manual, ...!sdcsvax!crash!kenobi!ford 2nd Edition, June, 1972. ditto@cbmvax.commodore.com
