[comp.sys.amiga] problem with A2000

 Finger pointing Match Ahead!!

Well I went and ordered an Amiga 2000 on Tuesday from Priority One Electronics
, I received the machine yesterday only to find that it had 1.2 in ROM.
When I order the machine I asked if it had 1.3 in ROM and the answer was YES.
Today I called Prioity One and I talked to my salesman who told me that the
machine should of had the 1.3 in rom. He said for me to call Commodore and that
they would give me the new roms free of charge. Well I tried calling
commodore customer support and after being on hold for 1/2 and hour, I've
decided to post this.
Commodore is this the responsiblity of the dealer or yours (if it yours who should
  I call) ?

If anybody can give me some suggestions thanks
  Todd

Commodore has phased 1.3 ROMs into production over a period of time, but
some of Commodore's and dealers' inventories may still contain 1.2 ROMs.
If the dealer promised that you would get 1.3, then it is their
responsibility to provide it for you. Please take this up with them.
On behalf of Commodore, I apologize that you were unable to get through
to our Customer Support System, but we get thousands of calls and are not
able to process them all, and I hope this information has been of
some use to you.

	Sincerely,
	Paul.
