Okay, okay, I've gone posting-crazy today. This must be my 5th posting in 24 hours. I'm trying to cut down. My question/problem/peev is the fan in my 2000. I miss the nice, quiet fan of my old 1000, and especially the non-fan of my C64. My current configuration is a 2000 with 2 3.5" drives, bridgecard with 5.25" and external 3.5" drive. I would like to put a resistor on the fan motor to slow it down, or disconnect it altogether. I know it isn't as loud as most PC-clone fans, but it is annoying when I am doing my musical applications. I want to know if turning down the fan will cook any important components, or any unimportant ones (like the bridgecard :) Thanks in advance, and from now on I'll try not to crowd the newsgroup. ==================================================================== Bob Richardson | "An Apple a Day?
